We offer both Online and In-Home Orton Gillingham Lessons.

Online Lesson Program

Our assessment and tutoring lessons are fully integrated into an online environment.

What’s Included

  • Assessment: 45-60-minute comprehensive assessment to determine student’s abilities and areas of intervention. Includes an assessment report that provides an overview of student’s current skillset and intervention plan for tutoring. Students receive a welcome package containing materials for online tutoring.

  • Lessons: Students meet with a reading tutor twice weekly to work on their foundational reading, writing and spelling skills. All tutoring lessons use the Orton-Gillingham approach. All lessons are individualized and designed for each student’s learning needs and goals. Lessons are 60 minutes in length. Includes progress reports at the end of each term.

In-Home Lesson Program

Offered to students within the City of Toronto and Greater Toronto Area.

  • Discounted rates are available for families with 2+ students in the same house.

What’s Included

Policies

  • All students are registered in recurrent lessons (twice a week) with no end date to secure preferred date and time.

  • Lessons are prepaid at the beginning of each month.

  • We are closed for all statutory holidays (you will not be billed for lessons falling on these dates).

  • Lessons are non-refundable. For cancellations made by parents/guardians with 24 hours’ notice, a make-up lesson will be offered.

  • One reschedule per month is permitted with 24 hours’ notice.

  • For cancellations by Wiley Reading Academy, a make-up lesson or refund will be offered.

  • One month's notice for termination of lessons (4 weeks)

  • Lessons are billed in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

  • We accept payment by e-transfer or by credit card (service fee applies)
