Hi, I’m Melissa! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in educational and school psychology. I received further training in the Orton Gillingham approach and structured literacy intervention strategies. As part of my commitment to continued education, I am currently pursuing a Master’s of Education in literacy education from Queen’s University. I am a reading specialist dedicated to providing private remedial support services to struggling students, including those with dyslexia and other learning differences. I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and the International Dyslexia Association of Ontario.

I provide a friendly, supportive environment for all of my students to learn and grow. Wiley Reading Academy was founded in order to provide all struggling students with specialized literacy intervention.

Wiley Reading Academy honours the memory of my late grandfather Wiley Wile who struggled through life being unable to read or write.
