The Orton-Gillingham approach is a structured, evidence-based multisensory approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling to struggling readers, including those with dyslexia and other learning differences.
Each Orton-Gillingham lesson is individualized to meet the unique learning needs of each student. Our comprehensive tutoring lessons target all aspects of literacy skill development including phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, handwriting, reading comprehension, fluency and written expression.

Our Services
Our assessment tools provide an overview of each student’s skill set and abilities in all aspects of literacy. This is the starting point for all new students beginning Orton-Gillingham tutoring lessons with us to determine areas of intervention.

Our screening tools determine whether young students have developed the foundational literacy skills that predict later reading ability. We provide specialized intervention to those at risk of reading failure prior to academic problems arising.

Students work one on one with an Orton-Gillingham reading tutor twice a week to complete individualized lessons that work towards addressing their underlying literacy problems.

Our Orton-Gillingham reading tutors expertly break down the fundamental skills that a student struggles with in reading, writing, and spelling into easy-to-understand concepts to learn and master.
